I am planning to join Indian Air Force (IAF) and for this decided to apply for the AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test). Will you please provide me important dates to apply for IAF AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) 01 exam so that I can apply for exam on time?

Indian Air Force (IAF) has finally released AFCAT 01/2018 Application Form. The form was to be available from December 16, 2017, but has been released a few days later.

AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) is a recruitment examination organized by the Indian Air Force (IAF). The examination is held twice a year in the months of February and August

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification

Secured 60% marks each in Physics and Maths in 12th or Equivalent Exam from a recognized board. Secured 60% marks in Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.

OR

Secured 60% marks in their B.E. or B.Tech Degree from a recognized University.

OR

Secured 60% marks in A and B Examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University.

Age Limit

Candidate should be aged between 20 and 24 years as on 1st Jan 2019. Therefore, candidates must have been born after 2nd Jan 1995 and before 1st Jan 1999.

General Awareness
Verbal Ability
Quantitative Ability
Logical Reasoning
Military Aptitude Test

1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
