Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test PPMET is conducted by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot for admission to B.Sc. Nursing Course in the various Nursing colleges in Punjab

PPMET Eligibility Criteria

The Higher Secondary Exam or the Indian School Certificate Exam or exam equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam with Physics, Chemistry & Biology after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years education structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education;
(or)

Candidates must have minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST/BC) marks in PCB.

English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible

The first year of the three year degree course of a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the exam is a University Examination and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course; (or)

Age Limit –

Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years

Exam pattern-

The Exam shall be only one paper consisting of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).

There will be 200 questions in all 50 on Physics, 50 on Chemistry, and 100 on Biology (50 each on Botany & Zoology)

The paper shall be of 3 hours duration and shall carry 800 marks

The test will be of objective type with multiple choice questions and candidates will be provided with a sealed Question Booklet and an OMR Response Sheet.

In the Test/Question Booklet, there will be 200 items (questions) serially numbered from 1 to 200

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
