The Nursing MSc course offered by King’s College is a part-time programme designed for qualified nurses wishing to obtain a master’s award having completed a postgraduate diploma (PGDip) with registration as an Adult, Children’s or Mental Health Nurse previously. The majority of learning for this degree takes place across the four King’s College London campuses, including three Thames-side campuses (Waterloo, St Thomas’ and Guy’s) and the Denmark Hill Campus in south London. Entry Requirements One must have been awarded a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Nursing with Registration (all fields) with an overall average mark of 55% or above (or overseas equivalent). One is also required to have studied research methods at a postgraduate level. If one does not meet the normal entry requirements or has only the minimum academic standard should pay particular attention in preparing supporting statement and CV to ensure that draw attention to evidence of potential success for dissertation work. This might include publications, preparation of reports or active participation in service development initiatives or funded research. One will be required to submit a brief outline of their project ideas. English Language Entry Requirements If one’s first language is not English one must be able to provide recent evidence that one’s spoken and written command of the English language is adequate for the programmes for which have applied. The level of English language you are required to demonstrate is dependent upon the programme for which have applied.
