I would like to tell you that Mercantile Marine Department not yet announced Dangerous Cargo Endorsement (DCE) jobs for Cochin region, here I will get updates. Here is the procedure to check for jobs Visit official site of Mercantile Marine Department There at middle left hand side page You can see section of notices/ circulars Then click on it a new page will open Which looks like this there you can get information easily Here I will let you know little details of post Eligibility Indian citizens holding valid Passport, Indian CDC and INDOS number and those who have undergone pre sea training and completed the basic STCW courses. Documents required Application Form in original duly filled up & signed Copy of Seafarer Registration Print Out on E-Governance of MMD, Mumbai (Copy attach with application no.) Copy of Certificate of Competency (For Officers) Copy of Oil / Chemical / Liquid Gas Familarisation Course Copy of Specialised Training Programme Oil / Chemcal / Gas Tanker Course. Copy of Advanced Fire Fighting Course (For Officers) / Fire Fighting & Fire Prevention (For Rating) Original Old Level 1 / Level 2 DC Endorsement. 3 months experience appropriate to duties on the type of tanker within last 5 years (For Renewal / Level 2 DC ) Copy of Liquid Cargo Handling Course (Oil Operational / Management Level) Original letter issued by the owner of the vessel / Agent in original regarding sea service with RPSL Number & E-mail Address. Indos Number Copy of CDC (Relevant sea service pages) Copy of Passport (First & last page) Copy of Medical Fitness Certificate (DGS approved) Latest within 6 months Two recent colour photographs passport size. Copy of Challan of Rs. 1000/- for each endorsement Above all documents to be kept in one green envelope size 10 x 14 inches with name, rank, contact no./e-mail, sr. no. of register entry & type of endorsement. General Instructions No Phone calls need be made to CMMI Kochi FC to check status or other inquiries (status will be updated in the website); Phone calls will not be encouraged. All Candidates must appear in person for submitting the application as well as for collecting the Certificates. Fees applicable should be paid at the office at the time of submission of application as cash. Fees once paid cannot be reimbursed, if the application is rejected due to eligibility criteria not being met. All relevant original documents are to be produced while submitting the applications for verification purpose and while collecting the certificates for proof of identification.. The copies of the certificates as listed below has to be attached in the same order as denoted in the checklist. Candidate should ensure that form is correctly filled up and all required documents are attached otherwise candidate will be declared ineligible for endorsement.
