Venkateshwara Open University (VOU) is a state private University located in Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh, India.

It was established by the Venkateshwara Open University Act No.10 of 2012 of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh in 2012

Venkateshwara Open University has been awarded with "Global Education Skill Summit" at Indian International Center on 23rd March, 2017.

It is an international platform of higher learning and non-profit foundation.

Venkateshwara Open University is empowered to award degrees as specified by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956.

Venkateshwara Open University received grand membership of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) on July 17, 2015. This AIU serves as a common platform to Indian and foreign universities in the fields of higher education, culture, sports, and allied areas.
