The IGCS of IITM serves the cooperation between German and Indian scientists on fundamental and applied research, teaching and training, dissemination of information in the area of sustainable development IGCS IITM Course details: Tasks and Topics covered The summer school students will participate in group work and practical assignments, the results of which they will have to present to their supervisors at the end of the summer school. The lectures and practicals will deal with a variety of topics such as water management engineering, tsunami and storm hazards, inundations, ecotoxicology, organic geochemistry, remote sensing, etc. At the end of the summer school the students will be awarded with a certificate of participation. Lectures and workshops for the summer school will be held by renowned professors from the IGCS, IIT Madras, and RWTH Aachen University together with lecturers of the previously mentioned institutions and FiW.
