Refresher Course for CSB/ DOS Technical staff

Late age silkworm rearing for DOS/CSB officials

Duration - 10 days

Shoot rearing technology, spinning, Leaf larvae separator,mounting, Cocooning structure, harvesting, Cocoon sorting and assessment

TECHNOLOGY UP-GRADATION PROGRAMMES (TUP):

Chawki rearing for farmers

8 days

Chawki silkworm rearing, disinfection & hygiene, organization of commercial CRC, maintenance of chawki garden, pest & disease control

Late age silkworm rearing for farmers

Duration - 10 days

Late age rearing - shoot rearing technology, disinfection & hygiene maintenance, pest and disease control, spinning and mounting technology etc.

Integrated Nutrient Management (INM)

Duration - 6 days

Growing green manuring crops, microbial aided compost technology, Vermicomposting, Biofertilizers - Azotobacter, Azospirullum, VAM, Phosphate solublizing microorganisms / Bacteria (PSM / PSB), Neem based pesticides, Trichoderma based biofungicides.

Integrated Pest and disease Management (IPM)

Duration - 6 days

Disinfection, selection of disinfectants, estimation, preparation, disinfection of rearing house, Silkworm diseases and their management hygiene, bed disinfectants, mulberry diseases and their management, mulberry pests tukra & leaf roller and their management Silkworm pests uzifly, IPM to control uzifly.
