Reliance Institute of Life Sciences is offering a program in Manufacturing for the academic year of 2012 and 2013.. The details of the program are given below. Young Manufacturing Professionals’ Program 1. Program (12 months – full time) 1.1 Class room training: 2 months [6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) 6 hours per day] Core Introduction to therapeutics Manufacturing plant design Manufacturing processes Quality Management Health, Safety and Environment Personality Development Elective Recombinant therapeutics Plasma proteins Biochemicals Cell therapy Pharmaceuticals 1.2 On the job training: 10 months [6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)] in any of the following areas Recombinant therapeutics Plasma proteins Cell therapy Biochemicals Pharmaceuticals Three quarterly reports need to be submitted during on-the-job training. 2. Eligibility Candidates who have graduated in 2010/2012 with the following degrees: B.Sc. (Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Chemistry) or Diploma (Pharmacy/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering) Stipendium All selected candidates will be given a stipendium of INR 180,000/- per annum during the training period (12 months). Venue for the Program The program will be conducted at Dhirubhai Ambani Life Sciences Center, Navi Mumbai and at manufacturing plant in Worli, Mumbai. Accommodation Shared accommodation and transport will be provided for the first 15 days free of cost to the outstation candidates. However, within this period, the participants will have to find suitable shared accommodation on their own in Navi Mumbai (Airoli/Ghansoli) area. |
