Re: karur vysya bank po exam pattern
Karur Vysya Bank PO (Probationary Officer) Post pre exam question pattern is objective. The paper contains 100 questions of 100 marks with these given 3 subjects below. Phase 1 Preliminary Exam The three sections of the preliminary exam are Reasoning ability, Quantitative aptitude, and English language. The number of questions for first sections of reasoning ability is 35 and marks allotted for this section is 35. The number of questions in the second section is 35 and marks allotted is 35. The last section of general English would have 30 questions and marks allotted would be 30. So the total marks allotted would be 35+35+30= 100 and total questions would 35+35+30= 100 and total time duration for the complete exam is 1 hour. There is a concept of negative marking which would be applied in which 0.25 marks would be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates need to score the cutoffs at least in all three sections. Prelims Exam Pattern Sr No. Test Name Qns. Marks Duration 1 Reasoning Ability Paper 35 35 01 hour 2 Quantitative Aptitude Paper 35 35 3 English Language Paper 30 30 Total 100 100 PO Mains Exam Pattern 2017 The mains examination is also an online exam which would be conducted for 200 marks and time duration will be 140 minutes. The mains exam is further divided into 5 sections which are reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general awareness (with special reference to banking industry), English language and computer knowledge. One also need to at least score the cutoffs in order to qualify Only securing cutoffs is not enough, one need to score high marks as after this phase a merit list would be prepared by IBPS wherein the conducting body would arrange the candidates with high marks at the top and the top rankers in the merit list would be given priority for the next round that is interview round and it would be decided as per the number of vacancies. Sr. No. Name of Tests (Objective) Marks/Time Duration 1 Reasoning 50 (40 Mins) 140 mins 2 English Language 40 (30 Mins) 3 Quantitative Aptitude 50 (40 Mins) 4 General Awareness 40 (20 Mins) 5 Computer Knowledge 20 (10 mins) Total 200 Phase 2 Mains Examination PO question paper pattern for mains exam – The first section of the mains exam would be reasoning which comprises 50 questions and total marks would be 50 and time allotted is 40 minutes. The second section would be quantitative aptitude which comprises 50 questions and marks allotted are 50 and time frame is 40 minutes. The next section is general awareness which comprises 40 questions and marks also 40 but the time frame is 20 minutes. The next section of English would have 40 questions and marks would be 40 and time limit is 30 minutes.
