UGC NET is a national level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. By qualifying this test, postgraduate students can apply for lecturer-ship in reputed universities and may also seek admissions for PhD Programs in Net Coordinating Universities. The pattern of the forthcoming edition of the National Eligibility Test (NET) to be held on 8th July 2018 by the Central Board of Secondary Education on behalf of the University Grant Commission. The Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducting the forthcoming edition, 8th July 2018, of the National Eligibility Test (NET) on behalf of the University Grants Commission. Exam pattern for UGC NET: The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions. All three separate session as under: First (Paper-I): 100 Marks (50 questions all are compulsory) [Duration: 1¼ Hours (09.30 am to 10.45 am, IST)] Second (Paper-II): 100 Marks (50 questions all are compulsory) [Duration: 1¼ Hours (11.15 am to 12.30 pm, IST)] Third (Paper-III): 150 Marks (75 questions all are compulsory) [Duration: 2½ Hours (02.00 pm to 04.30 pm, IST)] Exam Pattern: The Test will consist of three papers.
