General Scholastic Aptitude Test (GSAT) is a complete revision of previous group intelligence tests. It is a group test measuring the developed general scholastic aptitude of South African learners. General Scholastic Aptitude Test (GSAT) conducted to predicts progress in the conventional teaching situation very well across the board. Psychologists and educators will find the test an invaluable tool for facilitating optimal education for all. General Scholastic Aptitude Test (GSAT) was developed for English and Afrikaans-speaking learners between the ages of 9 and 18 years. Provision for a wide age spectrum was made by three overlapping series: Junior, Intermediate and Senior. General Scholastic Aptitude Test (GSAT) Norms Norms are provided for the non-verbal, verbal and total scores. Norms were developed for: The combination of English and Afrikaans-speaking learners; and The non-environmentally disadvantaged. Age norms: Norm scores have a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15 (IQ scale). Stanines and percentiles are also given. Standard norms: Standard groups serve as reference groups. Norm scores have a mean of 50 and a standard deviation of 10. |
