One who wants to join MBA / MSc (CA) / MSc (SS) programmes offered by institutes of Symbiosis International University have to take the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Online Test. One needs to register for SNAP Test & also register for the institutes offering choice of programmes by paying separate programmes registration fees. If shortlisted, one would then need to attend the GE-PIWAT process conducted by each of these institutes individually. SNAP Test Structure General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability - 40 Questions; 40 Marks Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency - 40 Questions; 40 Marks Current Affairs - 30 Questions; 30 Marks Analytical & logical Reasoning - 40 Questions; 40 Marks Total No. of Questions: 150 and 150 Marks SNAP Test duration is of 120 minutes SNAP Test is an objective test. Each question has 04 responses. Candidate should choose an appropriate response. 0.25 marks will be penalized for wrong answers. Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks. One must use Blue or Black ball point pen only Selection Process for SNAP: On the basis of their overall percentage of SNAP, a cut off list (category-wise) will be prepared and uploaded on the official website of respective institutes. According to these cut off lists, students will be shortlisted for the GE-PI WAT Parameters for Final Merit List Parameters Weightage Score SNAP Score (out of 150, scaled down to 50 marks) 50 Group Exercise (GE) 10 Personal Interaction (PI) 30 Writing Ability Test (WAT) 10 Total 100 |
